Tactical Global Management (TGM)

TGM is a specialist global equity, GTAA/global macro, and rebalancing overlay manager.

Within the website you will find information on our global equity process.  This process draws on a large database of strategies carefully designed to create focused exposure to over 30 risk factors covering value, size, momentum, quality, macroeconomic, and risk appetite factors.  In addition, a proprietary dynamic tactical overlay is used to actively adjust the exposure of the global equity portfolio across the strategies to ensure that the portfolio has a diversified exposure to the factors that are being rewarded by the market at that time and avoids those that are penalized.  The unique combination of a broad range of risk factors plus the tactical overlay represents the next generation in market neutral funds.

The website also has information on our GTAA/global macro investment philosophy and process, including our alpha modules that capture currency, bond, and equity market relativities as well as equity versus bond relativities.  There is information on TGM’s GTAA/global macro products managed accounts where the volatility target is tailored to a client specific setting.  TGM also offers a tailored mix or individual alpha modules via managed accounts, for example a currency alpha managed account.  Our 11 year GTAA/global macro live track record is also provided.

The website includes information on our beta management services, including tailored rebalancing overlays.  The objective of the beta management services is to assist clients in the management of their underlying assets relative to the strategic benchmark and associated cashflows.  An explanation is provided of how a tailored rebalancing overlay works, including currency hedging which is often part of a rebalancing overlay program.  TGM has been successfully managing rebalancing overlays for pension funds since 1997.  TGM also offers exposure trusts as a low cost vehicle for gaining exposure to index returns across the major asset classes

We have included a section outlining the roles and responsibilities of all our people along with their skills and experience, including those of our Directors.

Clients are also able to use the website to access both investment and special reports.  There are a number of options available to assist clients including automatic notification by e-mail when a new report has been uploaded to their secure folder.
